Here is to tell a wedding seen from a very close point of view….
We recently moved to live here in Orvieto in the heart of Umbria and when we can work here in our new home as wedding photographers we always feel thrilled! Michael and Janina are a couple who have chosen Orvieto as their destination wedding. For the details of their wedding they came to Orvieto a first time in the spring and we joined them photographing their “engagement” in the medieval streets of Orvieto. The big day arrived on June 21st. The preparation of the two as the evening reception took place in the beautiful location of Borgo di San Faustino, near Orvieto, immersed in the wonderful Umbrian countryside in a perfect structure for weddings. After the couple’s preparations, all the guests who had come for the occasion from Germany moved to the church where the religious ceremony took place: San Giovenale in Orvieto, an ancient church, even speaks of a first construction in 1004 AD!!! After the end of the ceremony completely in German we moved again to the location where the reception began. Everything normal until the beginning of the dances after dinner: Everything has become nothing short of quick: guys diving into the pool, the bride wandering around the pool on a surfboard!! For us, the wedding was a beautiful story to tell that allowed us to win some photographic awards: 2 awards received for the engagement photos from the Wpja Diamond awards and a prize received from the Wedding Photography Select.
